We strive to preserve mountain biking opportunities by building, maintaining, improving, and promoting trail systems in Brown County, Indiana and the surrounding region.

Brown County Mountain Biking is a volunteer group of riders, trail builders, sawyers, and advocates for local mountain biking. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Our Mission

How to Get Involved

Trails don’t build or maintain themselves, and we rely on a labor of love from our volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly. We’ve got numerous ways you can get involved with the community and help support mountain biking in our region. Attend trail work days, become a trail steward or sawyer, volunteer to help out at events like the Brown County Epic, or even join a committee to work on projects like maps and signage, events, long-range planning, trail work, and more.

Donations

As a nonprofit, our trail work and events are funded solely by donations and event registration fees from the Brown County Epic. A donation is a great way to give back to the trails and ensure that they continue to grow! Deductions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Reporting trail issues

See something wrong on one of the trails? For example, say you come across a downed tree blocking the trail. Simply take a photo of the tree (with your bike in the photo as a reference for the size), as well a screenshot of Trailforks or MTB Project showing where you are on the trail. Then post the images and a description on our Facebook page. This is super helpful for our trail workers and sawyers.
